Success - finally managed to copy all the tunes from my old ipod to the new one... there are no good free programmes that can sync painlessly, I thought I did that until I found songs missing (don't ask me how I noticed out of the 6000 songs I have). Ended up manually comparing playlists, song by song, and recopying the ones that got left behind.

In sad ipod news, accidentally managed to wipe out a friend's ipod collection after he deleted his local itunes library. Damn you autosync! Thankfully, he is taking it quite well, and have promised to go over next weekend to give him some music that he gave me yonks ago.

There is a strange ad running on the radio which I found funny at first but not anymore. It is about how radio doesn't need celebrity voices to boost sales, and features John Cleese as the celebrity voice who is peeved that he is no longer needed. It is kinda ironic then that the ad agency must have paid John Cleese a celebrity fee to act in a commercial that espouses celebrity endorsements...
