Angkor fantastic

Joe's attempt at a John McDermott. He is now known as Mr Handsome, thanks to a cheeky street vendor.

I never knew Siem Reap was such a fantastic place - the fruit shakes, 75 cent beers, the 90min massages, and of course angkor itself. It is very hard to take a bad photo at the angkor temples, however you do need to BYOM (bring your own monk) if you want to get the classic shot. But it is very hard to take a picture without other tourists - the big 3 temples tend to be packed unless you wake up at 5am and get there at sunrise.

I've never heard anything good about cambodian cooking, but make no mistake, it is truly awesome. We stuffed our faces, eating up to 10 dishes for 8 people. A must-try: the amok, which can range from a mild coconut curry to a wet coconut stir-fry. And the ginger chicken, which is amazingly tasty with their fluffy white rice. Ahhhhh, am drooling again.
