requests:

Johan is going to aceh. He is looking for teammates and money, so if you have either, please go here.

This may sound a bit loopy, but I haven't found a housemate yet. I believe that you can create the future by constantly thinking about it, like how you think of a song and then you switch on the radio, and ta-dah, there it is playing. So, please help me by concentrating on this thought: May Wei find a roommate soon, like in the next week, that can get along with her and is neat, pays rent on time, eats more veggies, a nice person etc etc.

Now the blog proper: The student clinic
So, in my course, we have to do observations, and eventually, treating patients, at the student clinic. It's more than just watching. We have to do filing, washing, change the sheets, and a whole lot of waiting in between patients. It's sad when the most you have to look forward to is the laundry, and it's not even your own. Where's a game of settler's when you need it? Again, I was reminded about the difference between girls and guys - they were so bored that they started shooting rubber bands at a paper target, not very accurately. Us girls rolled our eyes and left the room. What's next, licking frogs? ERgh.

We went on a long drive today, to Dandenongs the suburb, which has a lot of migrants from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka. I walked into a Sri Lankan grocery shop and breathed in the smell of Little India, holding it in for as long as I could. Die lah, homesick already and it's only been two weeks.
