Body still recovering from a massive snowboarding weekend, now that my ass is on a soft comfy chair I can say I had heaps of fun, but you would have got a different answer if you'd asked after my ass met the hard icy slopes, which was a lot. Have put up the rest of the photos on flikr. The weather was perfect, it snowed heaps and was all fluffy... until you get stuck and can't get out because there is nothing to push against.
Not sure if I will try boarding again, it only looks cool if you can 1)go fast 2)turn sharp corners 3)stop without falling over. I ended up ploughing during the steep hills, which just looks uncool (but you don't fall as much). In fact, so uncool like an oldie driving at 30kmh on the highway while everyone else is whizzing by. I definitely improved by the second afternoon, only 2 falls on my last run and graceful ones at that, but may be a good idea to get into surfing over summer before I hit the slopes again. Or there's always skiing.
