why wy?

Just saw X MEN 3 last night, as part of my post-exam splurge before the glut of papers hits next week. It was entertaining, and for comic fans like us, relatively shocking. Characters die or lose powers, which is great, because that would never happen in a comic, but then you are also going, WTF, was that it? It also felt crowded, like familiar faces with just a couple of lines. But overall it was geeky cool, better than the new star wars.

Caught it with my aikido buddies, which is funny cos everyone reacted when someone on screen did a perfect irimi nage. I guess it helps if you can walk through walls (and people).

Check out gnat's blog for her jealousy-inspiring manta ray videos. Over here, I'm sad to say I haven't got my feet wet, and in winter too. It's already 10C degrees in the air at night, I can't imagine a night dive. However, I am missing out on a giant spider crab invasion. I guess with "a crawling carpet of crabs' you want to have pretty good buoyancy heh.
